The United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in September 2015 that seek to address the world’s greatest challenges. The key to achieving the SDGs is working together with other stakeholders to develop and implement actions that contribute to the SDGs universal social, environmental and economic aspirations.
The impacts of climate change are increasingly being felt around the world: weather patterns, regulations and laws and people’s expectations are all changing. We’re working to avoid and manage climate change risks, and we’re committed to the effort to reduce carbon emissions to avoid our shared earth warming, as agreed to by nations participating in the Paris Agreement of 2015.
'Freedom from slavery' is one of the most fundamental freedoms that applies to all people.
Modern slavery refers to situations where one person takes away another person's freedom so that they can be exploited. "Modern slavery" is an umbrella term, encompassing the offences of slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, forced marriage and human trafficking.
