Higher education dreams come true

“I’m going to be the first person in my family to graduate from a higher education program."  

Fabián (pictured left) is one of 18 people set to realise their higher education dreams after receiving scholarships from our Cerro Matoso operation in Colombia to cover tuition, travel and living expenses as they complete their studies. 

Fabián said receiving the scholarship meant a lot to him and his family. 

“Cerro Matoso is teaching us that there are no limits and that we have a bright future ahead.”  

The program has awarded 137 scholarships since 2014, with 39 people already having graduated thanks to the support from Cerro Matoso. These graduates have become leaders in their communities, employees of recognised companies and owners of their own businesses.
