Turning pay packets into financial security

As part of the ‘Mission Possible’ wellness programme at our Hillside Aluminium Smelter in South Africa, about 440 of our people, including contractors, took part in an online financial education course. 

This introduction to financial literacy helped them discover how to manage their money better, and gave them ways to plan for financial security. The response from those who took part was incredibly positive, and it was such a success that almost a quarter of the participants opted to continue their studies at a business college in Richards Bay.
