Technology & Innovation Encouragement Award Finalists unveiled
We love driving positive change and encouraging innovation.
Utilising technology and innovation enables us to work safely, be more inclusive, improve performance, reduce our environmental footprint and future-proof our strategy.
We’re also committed to stimulating innovation in our local communities while assisting the next generation of innovators to get ahead which is why we are delighted to be a Platinum Encouragement Award sponsor at the 2018 Western Australian Innovator of the Year program.
Awarded to a WA applicant that has developed an outstanding innovative product, technology, process or service that contributes to the digital transformation of the Mining industry, the finalists for the South32 Technology & Innovation Encouragement Award have now been revealed.
The WA Innovator of the Year program has showcased innovative and entrepreneurial individuals, businesses and creative minds since 2006.
An initiative of the State Government's New Industries Fund, the program aims to give companies greater opportunities to commercialise their ideas and innovations and expand to create new jobs.
Western Australia’s Innovation and ICT Minister, Dave Kelly said: "These awards recognise and promote innovative Western Australians so that they can grow and develop their ideas locally.
"By supporting our local innovators we can help keep great ideas in WA to create WA jobs and grow our economy."
