For over 40 years, South32 Worsley Alumina has mined bauxite and refined it into alumina – a key ingredient in aluminium.

We’re proud to support WA’s South West and Peel regions. In the 2025 financial year, we contributed over A$397 million to the local economy — that’s more than a million dollars every day — through wages, procurement from more than 140 local suppliers, and community investment. With over 2,000 employees and contractors, we’re proud to help our regions thrive.
We invested A$1.9 million in local community projects, including 49 community initiatives. We funded programs supporting natural resource resilience, health, and education, from bushfire brigades to sporting clubs.
Together with our partners, we can create thriving communities, now and for generations to come.
