Jobs for people living with disabilities

07 AUGUST 2019

Worsley helps to create meaningful jobs for people living with disabilities

Our Worsley Alumina operation in Western Australia is working with local recruitment firm, Forrest Personnel, to create jobs for people living with disabilities, injuries or medical conditions.

The partnership has seen 10 people join the Worsley team, working in a range of roles from office administration to gardening.

Worsley Alumina Vice President Operations, Dino Otranto, said the Forrest Personnel crew were a valued part of the team.

“They’re doing a brilliant job and their efforts are certainly being noticed by many people across the organisation,” Dino said.

“At South32, we’re committed to becoming a truly diverse and inclusive workplace, so we’re really proud to offer these opportunities to community members who can often struggle to find meaningful employment.”
