At Mozal Aluminium, we’re supporting student’s education outcomes by contributing to the construction of education facilities.
To combat the issue of overcrowding, we’re building five more classrooms at Chibaulana Primary School in the Matola District. This will double the number of classrooms in the school and we’re also improving the existing buildings and water supply system. The new facility will expand the school’s capacity to teach older children, and reduce the distance they need to travel to get to school.
In addition, construction is under way on a new secondary school and a technical school. Again this investment reduces the distance students need to travel to access education and will include more classrooms and facilities to benefit from, including a sports field, swimming pool, laboratories, canteens and an auditorium.
