Silver has been used to make coins for over 2,000 years and today money still makes up the biggest demand for this precious metal.

Silver is also used to make jewellery, medical appliances and electronics and recently it has new industrial uses in things like solar panels and window coatings-to improve insulation.

Our Cannington mine in Australia has grown to become the world’s largest and lowest cost producer of silver. Here we produce six per cent of the world’s silver.
