We have a number of programmes in place to help our employees focus on their own health and wellbeing so that when they are at work they can be present, alert and engaged. These include nutritional advice, skin cancer and other health checks, and encouraging participation in initiatives like R U OK Day in Australia.
We also work on ways to reduce stress and fatigue, we encourage more flexible working arrangements, and we give our people with information on how to protect themselves against contagious diseases such as malaria.
We recognise that wellbeing can be affected by factors outside the workplace, so we provide all our people and their family members with access to an external employee assistance provider. These services provide support, teach people how to achieve wellbeing and effectiveness , and build their confidence and capability.
We’ve created a Regional Wellness Committee across all of our Africa Region operations.Read More
