We’re working with Landcare to get schools excited about biodiversity

Getting kids out into the natural environment has many benefits for them, including their own health and education. So, we’re pleased to be in a partnership with Landcare Australia to work with local schools to contribute to young people’s understanding of biodiversity.

The programme provides opportunities for kids to spend time outdoors, with hands-on learning activities that provide a unique combination of environmental, educational, health and social benefits.

We encourage them to explore their natural environment, and identify areas within their school or broader community where they help to improve biodiversity by restoring habitat for native plants and animals.

If we stimulate their interest in environmental care and biodiversity now, it can only be good news for the future.
