As part of our response to COVID-19, we’re working with the communities where we operate to understand how we can help.
Hermosa President, Pat Risner said: “One person, one group, can’t go this alone.”
“Every day, we are looking for different ways to help each other, our neighbours, and our communities, and we know we can make the biggest difference by working together.”
To support the communities surrounding our Hermosa Project in Arizona we have donated:
• $50,000 to the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona’s COVID-19 Response Fund which will be used to support non-profit organisations based in Santa Cruz County;
• $5,500 to Patagonia Elementary School for the purchase of laptops to support remote learning for school children; and
• $60,000 to Santa Cruz County to help them deal with the impacts COVID-19 has had on emergency management operations.
